Societal Structure
Group life:

There isn’t much in the way of a Celestial only population. The average Celestial mainly exists on planets with other lifeforms and abides by the societal structures that formed there but there have been groups that have occupied a planet of their own with only their kind. Even on these Celestial occupied planets the groups are usually small, consisting of 5 to 20 individuals. There isn’t usually much of a hierarchy but one will usually be an unofficial leader among them. There is only one known Celestial city on a remote planet though not much is known about it as no mortals have journeyed there. It's on this planet that the Grand Archive is situated. Curated by a Life Iteration known only as The Archivist.
Most Starborn Celestials live a peaceful existence at one with the natural way of things but some do turn to evil deeds and a want to control any life they find. They aren’t keen on building or farming as they have no need for food. Maximum exposure to the sun is preferred so buildings and clothing aren’t necessarily needed. This also results in a comfortable relationship with nudity.
Relationships and gender presentation:

Like any other species, Celestials are happy to be in relationships with one another or with humans/other sapient beings. They are fully capable of love and sexuality.
Celestial can also display gender in similar ways to other species or not at all. They can present male, female or neutral/androgynous and will use different sets of pronouns depending on their identity. Many Starborn have a tendency to present with no defining sex characteristics or genitals (Oso and Zetix) as they do not breed in the same way mortals do and have no need for them but some have chosen to change their body to present the sex characteristics they desire (Modaren, Hadrikal). Mortalborn will be born with regular sex characteristics but can transition if they so choose and will often follow whatever gender rules the planet they were born on follows. Same with sexuality and culture. A Mortalborn will not usually adopt the Starborn way of presenting if they aren't comfortable with it.
Starborn Celestials cannot breed the way Mortalborn Celestials can. They may choose to have genitals but they are incapable of producing offspring as they do not have the internal organs for doing so. However Mortalborn can reproduce with their mortal species. This will always result in a fully awakened Celestial even if the Celestial parent’s soul is dormant.

Mortalborn Celestial babies will be born looking human or like whatever mortal being they're born to and gain their pure/primal body later on but Starborn babies, once they've formed a physical body look like a little snake creature with arms, small horns and some hair.
